The QuickScan Mobile reader features Datalogic's cordless STAR-System, the market's most secure and reliable system for 433/910 MHz narrow band communications. Datalogic's STAR radio system is fast, easy to use and guaranteed Wi-Fi interference free. The Datalogic QuickScan Mobile reader's 40 ft. / 12 m radio range capability provides a wide working area eliminating the restraints of cabled devices, making the workplace safer and more efficient. Solid-state electronics ensure superior reliability and durability versus laser devices and provides for fast and snappy reading performance. Standard multiple interface capability provides host connectivity via USB, RS-232, Keyboard wedge and Wand Emulation. Convenient Plug & Scan kits provide for easy installation and the Scan-While-Charging feature combined with a long lasting user replaceable lithium-Ion battery allows for hands-free reading while simultaneously charging the battery. The Datalogic patented Batch Mode capability allows for the collection of data when out-of-range from the base station.
